With access to over 300,000 eAudiobooks and eBooks, uLibrary simplifies the digital library experience, allowing borrowers to enjoy their favourite author or book wherever they go through the uLibrary app or browser platform.
uLibrary has been designed and created by Ulverscroft Ltd., a specialist publishing company with over fifty years’ worth of experience of distributing the best stories to libraries around the world.
uLibrary has been designed and developed to be simple to set up and easy to use. Our team have a vast experience authenticating with the library LMS via either SIP2, API, LCF Framework and web services. We work closely with each library to understand their set-up requirements and ensure everything is in place before the launch of your new platform.
Our preferred method of user authentication is via a SIP2 protocol and the library LMS must be able to connect to our uLibrary service securely. This requires the library I.T. department to open its firewall to our secure IP address and port for the library authority’s uLibrary sub-domain.

Our eBook reader makes it easy to customize how you read, allowing you to adjust an eBook’s font size, font face, and the text and background colour as well as adding bookmarks as you read.
Our eAudiobook player makes it simple to listen anytime, with a simplified user experience. Listen at your own pace with our 30 second skip buttons, adjustable playback speed or by setting a sleep timer to end things on your own terms.
Our collections of digital titles have been expertly curated for the modern library, with a focus on ensuring the most popular genres, authors and series are available.
Alongside our beloved exclusive content, uLibrary is also home to thousands of eAudiobooks and eBooks from publishers including HarperCollins, Pan Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster and W.F. Howes.
If you’re ever unsure what to read, uLibrary has curated bookshelves based on theme or genre as well a built-in ‘Next Read’ feature which makes titles suggestions based upon your previous downloads.
